Dave Mirra designed the Miracle with channeled tread for little rolling resistance. The channels actually allow the tire to flex a little as Dave drops in, letting it grab the ramp better and allowing better feel. Mirra rode the Miracle prototype to two X-Games gold medals before approving it for production - seems he liked it.
