* Computer designed Hyperglide (HG) sprockets incorporate specifically positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for improved chain control during shifting. Fast and responsive indexed shifting is the result.

* A superior surface treatment has been applied to the titanium sprockets which increased durability by approximately 30%. The larger sprockets are titanium and are mounted on an alloy carrier. The 10-speed cassette usually fits both 9 and 10-speed cassette bodies.
